Permanent magnet generator for wearable energy harvester

An axial PM generator, to be used as wearable energy harvesters, was designed, built, and tested. With the generator placed on the wrist and while walking, it generates 0.96 mW at approximately 1 V, making its power density 13 uW/cm3.

Cation: The finished prototype with dual rotor of permanent magnets in a 3-D printed case.
